Global climbing legend Chris Sharma will be joining us on Day 1 and Day 2 of the TENZING Climbing Festival, delivering two exclusive workshops, a presentation and Q&A, and climbing throughout the day. He’ll also present the TENZING Extravaganza prize-giving

Day 1 kicks off with workshops from 10am, socials & more. Sleeping Lion screening at 5pm & Chris Sharma’s big talk at 6pm followed by a Climber Pub Quiz.

Bronze workshops: FREE with your ticket

Silver workshops: £15

Gold workshop: £40

Workshop full? Don’t worry! We’re holding back limited spaces on all silver and bronze workshops which can be booked on the day on a first come, first served basis.

TENZING EXTRAVAGANZA DAY 2

COMPETITION AND EPIC AFTERPARTY

FEATURING: DJ ELKKA

12pm - 5pm Compete solo: 25 climbs across the centre from V0 - V9, including c.5 “Wacky Blocs”

Format & Scoring:

Standard scoring of 10 points for flash, 7 points for 2nd attempt, 3 points for 3rd attempt and 4 points for 4+ attempts.

12pm - 5pm Compete as a Team: 4 climbs on the comp wall of the following styles:

No hands Slab

Crack climbing

Campus boulder

Dynamic moves

7pm FINALS: The finals is similar to a relay-race in format, with each team aiming to set the fastest time to complete all 4 blocs. Great fun to compete in and even more fun to watch!

DAY 1: Hear from LEGENDARY climber Chris Sharma
Chris Sharma is one of the greatest and most influential rock climbers of all time, distinguished by his preternatural ability and visionary first ascents. He set the standard for world class climbing while pushing the sport forward via new disciplines.
This talk will be fully interpreted by a BSL interpreter

Day 2: TENZING EXTRAVANGAZA COMPETITION

Join us on Day 2 of the event for the wildest competition London has ever seen! This never-before-seen format will be great fun to compete in and even more fun to watch!

- Relay Race style finals
- Compete as a mixed team of 4 for the best time completing 4 different styles of bloc
- Qualification round from 12pm - 5pm
- WANT TO COMPETE SOLO? No problem! Join us for our Fun Comp during the day & stay to spectate the wacky finals and afterparty!
Screening

Day 1: Sleeping Lion
Join us a 5pm on Day 1 of the festival to view Chris Sharma’s latest film Sleeping Lion presented by Tenaya
DAY 2: Epic Afterparty
